Trip Reports

Trip reports are an excellent way of communicating to the club all the different types and locations of diving that occurs within UBUC. They generate interest about specific sites and can bolster enthusiasm which encourages people to do more diving and hence more trips get organised and so on.

The reports are usually fairly lighthearted, purveying the friendly UBUC atmosphere but also should contain the following factual data:

  • Date
  • Place
  • Site
  • Type of Dive (shore, hardboat, club boat etc)
  • Names of trippers
  • Weather conditions
  • Vis
  • Marine Life

Other interesting tidbits inevitably occur during a trip and are also worth mentioning (both good and bad) - put in anything you think the average UBUC punter would find interesting. Have a look at a few of the previous trip reports to get the general idea.
