Petrol Costs

Due to considerable differences in petrol costs due to which car people were in it has been decided that petrol (or whatever fuel your car uses) costs are to be divided evenly amongst all trip attendees and not just amongst car occupants.

Overall this makes little difference to the running of trips but to help people understand what you need to do read the relevant section below:

Trip Organiser

  • Estimate fuel costs beforehand so that you can give people an idea of price.
  • Upon returning to Bristol collect fuel receipts from drivers.
  • Total the fuel costs, add any other expenses such as club fee and divide the total amongst the trip attendees
  • Collect money from trip attendees and reimburse drivers before heading off for a curry

Car Driver

  • Arrive at stores with a full tank of petrol
  • Drive to the site and go diving
  • Upon returning to stores fill your car so it is full again and hand this receipt to the Trip organiser
  • Get money back for petrol and head off for a curry

Passenger

  • Arrive at stores, sit back and appreciate being driven to go diving
  • Once back at stores give the Trip organiser the amount requested and head off for a curry
