Committee Meeting Minutes
Present: Keith de Blanger, Craig Rockliffe, John Readman, Piers Bonifant, Mike Thomas, Christopher Owens, Mike Shepherd, Dominic Warren-Gash and Alex Moisley.
Christmas Meal: Reminder: 7th of December at Stone House. The dress code is "smart" and it's £12 for the Christmas meal. So far, 62 people have shown interest in coming!
The committee plan to run a raffle this year and are looking for prizes. If you have anything that you would like to give towards the raffle, please contact someone in the committee.
Training: The Dive Leader packs containing the certificates and notes for the DL course have been ordered and will hopefully arrive soon.
Trainees attending the Ocean Diver and Sports Diver lectures are reminded that they will need to buy course packs in order to qualify - details are in the President's Bulletin (available on the club's website - www.ubuc.info).
Website: The club's website domain (www.ubuc.info) expires in January. Dom to renew.
Boats: Trip organisers are advised that boats will be out of action over the Christmas holidays whilst the engines have their routine maintenance.
Kayaks: The committee have now equipped the kayaks with all the necessary flares, bungees, anchors, etc. The committee hope to organise a kayak dive trip soon, weather permitting.
Box Trailer: The committee is to organise a box trailer repair session soon. Any help that can be given will be appreciated (details to follow via e-mail).
