Committee Meeting Minutes
Present: Keith de Blanger, Craig Rockliffe, John Readman, Piers Bonifant, Mike Thomas, Christopher Owens, Mike Shepherd, Dominic Warren-Gash and Alex Moisley.
Christmas Meal: 7th of December at Stone House. The dress code is "smart" and it's £12 for the Christmas meal. If anyone is interested in coming, they should contact Alex M.
Membership: A reminder to all members that have yet to pay this year that membership is due. No membership means no diving!
Equipment: The O2 regs are to be serviced after being used at the O2 Admin course. The O2 bottles are also to be refilled. 6 aluminium and 1 steel bottle will be serviced with the O2 regs as well.
Kit: It has come to light from recent trips that some SMBs are missing. These SMBs are needed so all club members are kindly requested to return any club SMBs they may have.
A kit fixing session will be arranged soon as there's quite a lot of kit needing tender loving care at the moment.
Extended Training: The Advanced Diver (AD) lectures are likely to be run as a weekend workshop this year. Piers is to send out an e-mail to determine if there's enough interest in running such a workshop.
SDCs: Practical Rescue Management (PRM) will hopefully be run this term, no date specified as yet. Chart work and VHF courses may go ahead during the cold months next term whilst a Boat Handling course is likely to happen in the early Spring.
Dive Kayaks: The club diveyaks have arrived! The committee is to determine the training / dive qualifications needed to use them and purchase any additional equipment that the diveyaks may require.
