Committee Meeting Minutes
Committee Meeting 2nd February 2007
2. Apologies: Dora Lengyel
3. The committee verified the minutes of the previous meeting.
4. Trips calendar. There are a number of trips planned this term:
17th Feb - Plymouth - Chris M
4th Mar - Kyarra - Ali
17th Mar - SD rescue trip
18th Mar - JEL and Elk - Chris M
Anyone interested in organising any additional trips please contact Chris M.
5. PK main trip. A to do list has been drawn up with tasks allocated to the committee. Kate and Ali to make sure deadlines are met.
6. Club Merchandise. Kate is to email the club and collect orders. Aim is to order by mid Feb.
7. Fundraising. The committee has decided on two fundraising events. A sponsored beach clean up and a barbeque and duck race in the summer term. Please contact the committee if you have any further suggestions.
8. Training Packs. These have all arrived and are in stores ready for collection. Please contact Dom to collect yours.
9. Suits. Chris A is organising a suit sale to be held in the week of 26th Feb. There will be a suits talk after the lecture on Tuesday 6th Feb.
10. SDCs. Piers is organising PRM and Boat handling courses this term. PRM will be held on 22nd and 24th Feb and boat handling on 8th and 10th March. Contact Piers for further information. We will also try to run a Union first aid course and a VHF course next term.
